Breathe in the Wild: Kenya

A journey back to yourself

There are moments when life quietly invites you to slow down

Not because something is broken.
But because something deeper inside is asking to be heard.

You may still be functioning, succeeding, caring for others, moving forward —yet sensing that something essential has been waiting patiently beneath the surface.

Breathe in the Wild was created for that moment.

Held beneath Mount Kilimanjaro and surrounded by ancient elephant migration paths, this retreat is a carefully guided journey into stillness, clarity, reconnection and perspective.

This is not about stepping away from your life.
It is about returning to it — with steadiness, presence and renewed meaning.

A Retreat That Gently Changes How You Feel Inside

This is not simply a safari.

And it is not simply a wellness retreat.

It is a transformational experience where wilderness, breathwork, cultural connection and guided reflection work together to support real internal shifts.

During this journey, you are held inside an environment where the noise of daily life naturally fades — allowing your nervous system, mind and emotions to settle.

And when the outer world becomes still, something inside begins to reorganise, soften and clarify.

The Deeper Experience Behind This Retreat

Breathe in the Wild gently supports you to:

~ Release emotional and mental tension

~ Regulate and reset your nervous system

~ Reconnect with intuition and inner clarity

~ Reflect on life priorities and direction

~ Strengthen inner grounding and resilience

~ Remember what gives your life meaning

~ Return home feeling clear, steady and inspired

Participants often arrive carrying mental noise, emotional pressure or uncertainty about direction.

Stillness in Nature and Wildlife

Nature does not demand transformation. It simply creates the conditions where transformation naturally unfolds.

Cultural Connection Rooted in Trust and Long-Term Relationship

A central part of Breathe in the Wild is meaningful connection with a Maasai community connected to a remote primary school deep in the bush — a place visitors rarely reach.

This experience is not created for tourism. It is built on a long-standing relationship between one of the retreat facilitators and the Maasai community, developed through years of collaboration, trust and shared work supporting the school and families.

Because of this relationship, participants are welcomed into genuine daily life experiences rather than staged cultural visits.

You will:

— Share yoga and joyful connection with Maasai students

— Cook lunch alongside school staff and community women

— Learn traditional beadwork directly from Maasai women

— Visit a traditional Maasai home

— Experience storytelling, traditions and daily life practices

“Many participants describe these encounters as deeply emotional and perspective-shifting — reconnecting them to simplicity, gratitude and belonging.”

Guided by Indigenous Wisdom

This retreat is co-facilitated by an international team combining wellness expertise with deep local cultural knowledge.

One of the retreat co-facilitators is an experienced Maasai guide who has grown up within this land and community.

He will share knowledge about:

~ Maasai traditions and cultural values

~ Connection between Maasai people, wildlife and land

~ Traditional survival skills and plant medicine

~ Community living and resilience

~ Storytelling passed through generations

His presence offers participants a rare opportunity to experience the Maasai worldview through lived knowledge rather than observation.

The retreat follows a natural transformational rhythm

Your Oasis in the Wild

You will stay inside a beautiful eco-award-winning safari lodge located within a private wildlife conservancy bordering Amboseli National Park.

The lodge has been intentionally chosen because it creates a safe, nurturing and deeply calming environment — allowing you to fully relax and surrender into the retreat process.

Surrounded by lush gardens, natural springs and ancient Acacia trees, wildlife regularly gathers at the nearby waterhole while birdsong fills the air.

Afternoons naturally invite:

- Rest beside the pool watching wildlife
- Quiet journaling or reflection time
- Gentle integration between sessions
- Sunset stillness beneath African skies
